The move to the new premises did not do the restaurant any good. The kitchen doesn't seem to be able to cope with the larger number of customers. The dishes are interchangeable with any Indian, in any city in Germany. If you go through the menu with the waiter when ordering, you will hear more and more often that the dish in question is not available. In the old, small Sweet Chilli, the senior chef always had a watchful eye on the kitchen and the service. That stern, watchful look will be greatly missed. It's a shame, a visit to Sweet Chilli is no longer a must when visiting Dortmund. Time to look for alternatives.

The food is always delicious, fresh and the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. If the restaurant is full, it can be a little louder and the service can take longer, but that's completely OK. We always like to come back.

My absolute favorite restaurant. I've probably been here 100 times in the last 7 years :D check out the menu ;) It's best to bring some time with you on the weekend

Unfortunately, despite the note "mild" and "not spicy", you get food that is totally spicy. I fished out at least 5 chili pepper pieces.

I came across sweet chilli by chance. But as they say on vacation, eat where the locals eat. In this case guests from Srilanka. The food was freshly prepared, not too spicy, in a pleasant atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is also good. So I can only recommend it. See you next time.
